The sixth and last episode of Extras aired on Sunday. this show is great. must see tv. patrick stewart was on the last episode- he was great.
took the afterschool program to the bronx zoo yesterday. only problem was that the zoo had switched to its winter hours so it was closed when we got there. we elt the kids run wild in a nearby playgroud. don't know what we would have done had the playground not been there. it was amazing how much fun these kids had at the playground. i apologized to some afterward about the zoo, and they couldn't have cared less about missing the zoo. it was awesome. i even took the opportunity to teach some of them about physics (swings are awesome). im pretty sure these kids never really have free time like this to jsut play around with their friends at school.
