on a similar note- i am schmuck. i forgot brad is a lakers fan. since he actually lives here he gets first dibs on the lakers ticket.
moving on. today was supposed to be a day of work. but this is like the one of the best sports days in a long time. the astros and the braves are in extra innings (12th right now). the braves lose and they go home. its 6-6 right now. there have been two grand slams!! later weve got the yanks and the angels. then there's football on. and to top it all off the american express championship has tiger and daly going down the stretch battling for the win. good stuff. i used to follow the dodgers and baseball but then school got in the way so i gave up baseball (save for some the playoffs) and stuck with basketball. but now i have time. playoff bseball is great. ive also been able to watch some football, which is awesome. getting back to the playoffs- so far i gotta say im rooting for the cards. mostly because i want to hear the name "pujols" as much as possible on national tv. for those of you who don't know, albert pujols' last name is pronounced "poo-holes." gets me everytime.
more tv stuff- the new curb season has been good so far, but i would not say near the greatness of season four. luckily "extras" which is on after curb is fucking fantastic. its by the guy that did the british "the office." i've watched some of this seasons american "the office" and its been pretty good. arrested development also continues its run as the best of non-hbo sitcoms. that show is seriously good.
finally, tea is great. ive had about 1.5 liters so far today.
