Cemetery
here is a pic of the aforementioned cemetery. thats my grandpa looking at the gravestone of Private Raymond W. Jungclas Jr. Jungclas is important because he was sent on a mission that my grandpa was supposed to go on. my grandpa had gone somewhere on official business and when they were going over who was gonna do what he wasn't around. they thought he skipped town, even though plenty of people knew where he was. nobody spoke up. so they assigned jungclas to do this jump. long story short Jungclas ended up getting injured and was being held in a German hospital. That hospital was bombed by americans and Jungclas died. also of note is that there are very few jewish gravestones. This is because all of these graves were moved from two other cemeteries. When they were moved the families of the soldiers were asked if the wanted the caskets returned to the US. Most of the Jewish families said yes.
