My life may now be oficially complete. Last night I went to talk by Jane Goodall. Now, I didn't even stay more than fiftenn minutes because Scarface, which I had never seen, was playing soon, and because I had to take a shit. The shit is really what tipped the scales on htis one. So i left after fifteen minutes of her talking about her childhood- I heard her tell this story in a video in my anthropology class last term. I did happen to catch one of the greatest things ever. Good 'ol Jane gave us her chimp call. A 70-something woman doing the morning greeting of a chimp is just about the best thing I have ever seen. Some of the audience even chimed in with their own version of it. Fantastic. Oh, and scarface is awesome.
