The future is now, for reals

I actually thought the future was like last week when I was talking to my mom across the Atlantic for free over the intarweb. But, I realized the future was not then but actually this past Saturday. We spent the day in London (yay) and after dinner we were walking back to the tube. I saw this guy standing at some sort of grey structure- didnt look like much, i thought it was a random thing on a street in a big city- and there was this guy clearly pissing on it. I couldnt believe it. So I looked closer. Yeah he was definitely peeing on it. Okay, I didnt see his wang or anything but he was tucked in a little corner of this grey thing in classic piss pose. As we walked by i realized that this structure was actually four corners. Each made for you to piss in!!!! The taboo of public urination is a thing of the past my fruends. Have no fear, you may now politely pee in public. This is fantastic- kinda like the NBA.
For VTD we (me, matt, jared, corinna) are going to an Indian restaurant. Nothing special just having a good time with friends. Manisha is going to some hip-hop class that is sooooooo great she can never ever ever miss it.... well, except for last week. And Ryan Olf, our sixth travelling companion (woot for Paul Simon), is in a play which ahs dres rehersal tonight. So its a three on-one date. I had suggested, if all six of us were going, that we have an elimination wrestling tournament to see which guys get which girl and the other two would stay home, or maybe go out on a date together. Really I just want to wrassle.
I went on a blind date last week. Theres a university-wide blind date. Its very interesting. I had a good time, nothing spectacular. Went to a club after the pub. In line for the club my date went home. She "received" a text message from her friend and she had to go help her out. I use quotations there because noone actually saw her get a text. Though I will say her friend did have a terrible date, and she did apologize the next day for leaving so abruptly. Either way I had a good time. It was a strange experience to go on a date like that. I haven't dont that in...well, ever. I mean not knowing anything about someone and going on a date. News to me. There was one humorous moment. Well maybe. Anyways, I had just finished telling her some long drawn out story or theory of mine- i dont really remember. And she said "you know, I think you think about things much more than I do." Now I thought this was an interesting statement to make, especially after only knowing me four about and hour. So I sat there and proceeded to think about it. For about thirty seconds- until she stopped me.
