I take back what I said about the future and the "racism is the new black" thing. I now realize i was being shortsighted..for the future is now and it is occuring at the glendale galleria. I was shopping the other day for presents for geetha when I stumbles upon a sign that said:

Black is the new Black

How could I not see this coming??? Its so obvious that as with everything else the new thing will jsut be the original, this is hte ultimate in cyclic styles.
Okay, so its not that simple becasue this sign wqas for a mall-wide gift card (does anyone know a better way to say i love you that a mall-wide gift card?). The sign said" black is always in style." then below that it said "black is the new black" with some pictures of this black gift card. needless to tsay i immeadiately called peter to tell him the good news:

"'Black is the new black' is the new 'twelve is the new eleven' is the new 'pink is the new black'"

Oh and fianlly: fuck fuschia!!!!
