I had a vision of the future today. In the future fashion will no longer be a copy or 'retro' of past styles, fashion will be a retro of psat attitudes. This is how I see it going down. In about five years the new black will be fuschia, which will last for at least twenty years (thus outlasting teal's stint in the early 90's as the obscure color to make every new sports team's uniforms). At this point everyone will have forgotten that fuschia was never not THE fuschia so you will hear "so did you hear? black is the new fuschia." ANd black will have its last stint as the thing. For a few more years. Then one day you will come into work and a good friend of yours will be like "get out of here you filthy jew" or nigger, wop, spic, etc.... ANd you will be like "whaaa???" And your buddy will be like :didn' you hear? racism is the new black!" and as he walks away with a grin across his face he will greet the chinc in the next cubicle.
I think this science fiction class may be having an effect on me, but im not sure.
