been a while since my last post. apologies to anyone who may care. i keep thinking of stuff to write then i don't feel motivated when i get to my computer (read: drunk or tired). speaking of which, not having to wake up to go to work and stuff every day makes me really alcoholic. not really, but i like to err on the side of chemical dependencies. speaking of which, the other day in class my instructor said the word "err." but she said "er" like at the end of the word "butter." who does that? seriously, is that an accepted way to pronounce "err." really pissed me off. yesterday matt and i were wlaking to Rockafeller U. to meet manisha for happy hour (they give students and guests free beer for an hour) and we found ourselves behind a girl on crutches. now we walk fast so this forced us to slow down. there was a little room on the sidewalk to go past her but it was like- is that completely rude? at least thats what i was thinking and im pretty sure matt was on the same wavelength. then i thought of how "funny" it would be to kick one of her crutches out from under her. then matt decided he would try to go by her. no go. def felt knda wrong. but then she noticed us and moved aside. matt said "thanks" or something of the sort. i tried and discv oered that i would be unable speak without erupting in laughter so i went with a groan-like expression that might be confused with the word "thanks." we walked away even quicker than we normally would so that this poor girl would not see us laughing. luckily we were turning the corner 20 feet ahead because that was about as long as i could hold it in. pretty sure i am a terrible person. but i am willing ot accept being terrible in this way. before our journey to rockafeller, my home (on a side note: kanye west kicks ass), i was asked to speak at an info sesion for teachers interested in the Reach the World program i interned for alst semester. i got an e-mail in the morning asking for 30 minutes of my time and that they would pay me. funny thing is i would have done it for free. i was expectinglike ten bucks. shit i got paid like 6$/hour for the internship. i arrive and they give me an envelope with a check for 25 bucks. i hadn't done anything yet! so i get up t ospeak and wham- all the useful stuff i was going to say went straight out the window. this is the problem with drinking heavily, a lot- my mind plays tricks on me. all the info is in there, but it hides itself at times. right when i got back to my room everythign i had thought about saying came to me. whatever, they said they like what i said anyways. a while back i went to the laugh factory (the infamous "dice" night) and saw the world champion judah freilander perform. hilarious set. put myself on his mailing list and now i get intermittent e-mails about shows in LA. last week i got one about a movei he is in called pizza (not to be confused with this or this). saw it at the IFC theater last night with matt and manisha after happy hour and dinner. i enjoyed it very much. judah's part was minimal and nothing too exciting. anyways, more importantly, and to get to the point there was a trailer for has the potential to be the best movie of all time. i give you CSA. please make sure to watch the trailer the link to which is in the center of that page. brilliance.
