three miunutes to go on the intarweb. so i will make it fast. don't know how it happened but the the computer just switched to displaying webpages in some asian language instead of english like it was a minute ago. new years was awesome. got back to the hostel at 6am after a rocking good night. so many fireworks all over the place. one called "vietcong" was set off about ten feet from me. it invloved many airborn traditional fireworks. when that was over a really surprising and loud bang went off with no firework. nearly shat my pants and fell over the side of the bridge. the flasks matt and i bought for everyone before we left came in real handy. we met many random drunk people on the bridge. very entertaining. ther were some hot aussie's that seemes to be interested but one of them was about to die from alcohol poisoining and had to go home. in retrospect, perhaps the flasks were not the best thing for her. ok, that is all for now. happy new year to all. hope festivus went well.
