went to vegas this past weekend with jared, manisha, matt, k-dunck, and big peter. we stayed at the south strip travellodge. we brought a few handles of booze, and about 50 beers to keep us going. i didnt actually drink that much of wht we brought, because i was too busy imbibing in the casino. we met up with carlito and THE bard. we saw this show called "bite." it was amazing. as bard said it combined three genius things: vampires, classic rock, and toplessness. needless to say, it was awesome. me, jared, manisha, and matt also saw Mystere at treasure island. this is the third cirque show ive seen in my life and lemme say, those cirque folk sure know how to put on a show. 'twas breathtaking. the best part of the trip though has to be that I won $400!!!!! if i hadnt played craps or slots, where i lots a combined $70, i woulda been up even more. still, ill take the four c-notes any day. i was having some luck at the BJ table. hitting 16's and getting 5's it quite a good time. on the last night i started with 40 bucks at the boardwalk. i decided to either lose that 40 or make something of it. so i got down to my last $5 chip a few times. I ended up turning that $5 into $200. fucking awesome. i'm not sure winning this much is good for me to keep my gambling habit under control. i imagine that i wont have luck like that for a while though. i think i might use this money to buy a watch i've been looking at. citizen eco-drive calibre 8700. solar powered, perpetual calendar (keeps the correct date until 2100).
