Titular line
So this weekend i spent time with the g-ride and some time with the t-bone. too bad hte lakers lost, but im still 110% (athletes' favortie percentage) sure that the lakers are gonna win this series. of course if they feel the same way i do then maybe theyll keep playing like they have already won, like on sunday, and then have to work to get out of the series. anyways it was good to see tim. though hes goin tomorrow. if i had a car i would be hangin with mr cooper right now. lamps. if lamps is a negative. and lamps plus is even more negative is lamos minus positive or jsut a different kind of lamp? i had used it as really really negative only to realize that that couldnt be right at all. im a real asshole, so whenever geetha asks me "you know what?" i try to guess and without fail i am totally off, but its fun to come up with things that could have happened ot her. so the other day she asks "do you know whats sad?" i said "when a.... mother....uh...." i am trying ot think of something creative here".....loses a child." lamps i tell you, so not creative. but the g-ride was like "yeah, thats it." i was so proud of myself i really couldnt feel bad about the story she was about to tell. see im an asshole.
new story. i was playing scrabble with tim as we always do. i was getting vowel after vowel and tim was kicking my arse. towards the end of the game the top middle TWS was left open (i htink tim left the opening, could have been me, i dunno). the opening came from a word that began with TE one row below the top line and two spaces to the right. so i would have to play a horizontal word where the last letters mad two letter words with the T or both the T and the E. I had an I and an R so i could end the word with them and spell 'IT' and 'RE.' but i had nothing. so i played BEFORE with the E jsut below the T iwas jsut talking about. so on my lext turn i have the opportunity to play LAIR in the TWS, not a lot of points but at least i could keep tim form using it and i only had one-point tiles so it was the best option. but then i looked and LAIR would spell ITE and RE, so i was like snap. but then being hte genius htat i am, i spelled LIAR making the last two letter (A and R) form the words ATE and RE vertically. yay for me. while all this was goign on geetha had called me so i wasnt paying attention so much to the rest of my tiles since i had a word that i thought was the only word i could play. but it wasnt because that was the previous turn when i didnt have an A. so as im placing my tiles on the board and tlaking on the phone i glance at the tiles in my rack. TUT. TIT, huh htats funny. ULAR, wait a fricking minute. i wasnt sure but i stopped tlaking and brought my tiles back to my rack and there it was TITULAR. TWS and a bonus 50 points for playing all my tiles. it was close in the end but i won. now i know most people wont get this far in this, so if youre reading this, bravo to you. i know the story wasnt so great but hte 'punchline,' i think, was worth it.
